Let’s strive to know the LORD. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the land.

The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD raises up those who are oppressed. The LORD loves the righteous.The LORD protects resident aliens and helps the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.

Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my instruction: do not fear disgrace by men, and do not be shattered by their taunts.

Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, you who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were cut, and to the quarry from which you were dug.

But the way of the wicked is like the darkest gloom; they don’t know what makes them stumble.
