And there will be no night there— no need for lamps or sun— for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever.

Light is sweet; how pleasant to see a new day dawning.

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.

The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well watered garden, like an ever flowing spring.

“ But now we have been given a brief moment of grace, for the Lord our God has allowed a few of us to survive as a remnant. He has given us security in this holy place. Our God has brightened our eyes and granted us some relief from our slavery.

Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, Lord.

And there was the baby, lying in the manger.After seeing him, the shepherds told everyone what had happened and what the angel had said to them about this child.All who heard the shepherds’ story were astonished,but Mary kept all these things in her heart and thought about them often.

And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light.

The life of the godly is full of light and joy, but the light of the wicked will be snuffed out.
