Stern discipline awaits anyone who leaves the path; the one who hates correction will die.

Hard training is in store for anyone who leaves the right path. A person who hates to be corrected will die.

Because I would have cleansed you, Yet you are not clean, You will not be cleansed from your filthiness again Until I have expended My wrath on you.I, the Lord, have spoken; it is coming and I will act. I will not overlook, I will not pity, and I will not be sorry; according to your ways and according to your deeds I will judge you,” declares the Lord God.’ ”

When Ahab saw Elijah, Ahab said to him,“ Is this you, the cause of disaster to Israel?”

They did not accept my advice, They disdainfully rejected every rebuke from me.

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ There is still one man by whom we may inquire of the Lord, but I hate him, because he does not prophesy anything good regarding me, but only bad. He is Micaiah the son of Imlah.” But Jehoshaphat said,“ May the king not say so.”

A wise son accepts his father’s discipline, But a scoffer does not listen to rebuke.

Where will you be stricken again, As you continue in your rebellion? The entire head is sick And the entire heart is faint.From the sole of the foot even to the head There is nothing healthy in it, Only bruises, slashes, and raw wounds; Not pressed out nor bandaged, Nor softened with oil.
