Though you pound the fool in a mortar with a pestle along with crushed grain, His foolishness still will not leave him.

Wisdom along with an inheritance is good, And an advantage to those who see the sun.For wisdom is protection just as money is protection, But the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom keeps its possessors alive.

He has given freely to the poor, His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted in honor.

And He will be the stability of your times, A wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; The fear of the Lord is his treasure.

And I will say to myself,“ You have many goods stored up for many years to come; relax, eat, drink, and enjoy yourself!” ’But God said to him,‘ You fool! This very night your soul is demanded of you; and as for all that you have prepared, who will own it now?’
