The king then got up in his anger from drinking wine and went into the palace garden; but Haman stayed to beg for his life from Queen Esther, for he saw that harm had been determined against him by the king.Now when the king returned from the palace garden into the place where they had been drinking wine, Haman was falling on the couch where Esther was. Then the king said,“ Will he even assault the queen with me in the house?” As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.

And they said,“ Your servant our father is well; he is still alive.” Then they bowed down again in homage.

One who troubles his own house will inherit wind, And the foolish will be servant to the wise hearted.

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said,“ Plead with the Lord to remove the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, so that they may sacrifice to the Lord.”

Then Pharaoh sent for Moses and Aaron, and said to them,“ I have sinned this time; the Lord is the righteous one, and I and my people are the wicked ones.Plead with the Lord, for there has been enough of God’s thunder and hail; and I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.”

Like sheep they sink down to Sheol; Death will be their shepherd; And the upright will rule over them in the morning, And their form shall be for Sheol to consume So that they have no lofty home.

Nations will see and be ashamed Of all their might. They will put their hand on their mouth, Their ears will be deaf.They will lick up dust like a snake, Like reptiles of the earth. They will come trembling out of their fortresses; To the Lord our God they will come in trepidation, And they will be afraid of You.

The sons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you, And all those who despised you will bow down at the soles of your feet; And they will call you the city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

and they came and pleaded with them, and when they had led them out, they repeatedly asked them to leave the city.
