Good people obtain favor from the Lord, but he condemns those who devise wicked schemes.

King Xerxes asked Queen Esther,“ Who is he? Where is he— the man who has dared to do such a thing?”Esther said,“ An adversary and enemy! This vile Haman!” Then Haman was terrified before the king and queen.

Scoundrels use wicked methods, they make up evil schemes to destroy the poor with lies, even when the plea of the needy is just.

Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult.
