The plans of the righteous are just, but the advice of the wicked is deceitful.

O Jerusalem, wash thy heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thine evil thoughts lodge within thee?

They speak falsehood every one with his neighbor: With flattering lip, and with a double heart, do they speak.Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips, The tongue that speaketh great things;

And if he come to see me, he speaketh falsehood; His heart gathereth iniquity to itself: When he goeth abroad, he telleth it.All that hate me whisper together against me; Against me do they devise my hurt.

For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, That his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: He hath ceased to be wise and to do good.He deviseth iniquity upon his bed; He setteth himself in a way that is not good; He abhorreth not evil.

I will meditate on thy precepts, And have respect unto thy ways.

Deliver me, O Jehovah, from the evil man; Preserve me from the violent man:Who devise mischiefs in their heart; Continually do they gather themselves together for war.They have sharpened their tongue like a serpent; Adders’ poison is under their lips.[ Selah

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the Wise- men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the male children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the borders thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had exactly learned of the Wise- men.

The desire of the righteous is only good; But the expectation of the wicked is wrath.

The thought of foolishness is sin; And the scoffer is an abomination to men.
