No one can be established through wickedness, but the righteous cannot be uprooted.

No one can become strong and steady by doing evil. But if people do what is right, they can’t be removed from the land.

having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.

I have seen the fool taking root, And I cursed his home immediately.His sons are far from safety, They are also oppressed at the gate, And there is no one to save them.The hungry devour his harvest And take it to a place of thorns, And the schemer is eager for their wealth.

He does not lend his money at interest, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. One who does these things will never be shaken.

Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but remains forever.As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From this time and forever.

That the rejoicing of the wicked is short, And the joy of the godless momentary?Though his arrogance reaches the heavens, And his head touches the clouds,He perishes forever like his refuse; Those who have seen him will say,‘ Where is he?’He flies away like a dream, and they cannot find him; Like a vision of the night he is chased away.The eye which saw him sees him no longer, And his place no longer beholds him.
