Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult.

Foolish people are easily upset. But wise people pay no attention to hurtful words.

The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult.

A fool is quick tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted.

A fool’s displeasure is known at once, but whoever ignores an insult is sensible.

A fool’s anger is known at once, But a prudent person conceals dishonor.

A fool’s vexation is presently known; But a prudent man concealeth shame.

What has he done?”Then Saul cast a spear at him to kill him, by which Jonathan knew that it was determined by his father to kill David.So Jonathan arose from the table in fierce anger, and ate no food the second day of the month, for he was grieved for David, because his father had treated him shamefully.

Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it. But the correction of fools is folly.

Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding, But what is in the heart of fools is made known.
