壞人的堡障是淤泥；義人的根永久長存。

惡人貪愛壞人的贓物，義人的根將結果實。

惡人罔利、惡人欲得其網、義者之根、自結其實、

惡者貪非義之利、義人自食其力。

惡人為惡、如喜入惡網、善人之本必鞏固、又作惡人貪得不義之人所羅者惟善人之本無不鞏固

The wicked desire the stronghold of evildoers, but the root of the righteous endures.

Those who do what is wrong are safe for just a while. But those who do what is right last forever.

Whoever is wicked covets the spoil of evildoers, but the root of the righteous bears fruit.

Thieves are jealous of each other’s loot, but the godly are well rooted and bear their own fruit.

The wicked desire what evil people have caught, but the root of the righteous is productive.

The wicked person desires the plunder of evil people, But the root of the righteous yields fruit.

The wicked covet the catch of evil men, But the root of the righteous yields fruit.

He lurketh in secret as a lion in his covert; He lieth in wait to catch the poor: He doth catch the poor, when he draweth him in his net.

The rich man’s wealth is his strong city: The destruction of the poor is their poverty.

And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

In days to come shall Jacob take root; Israel shall blossom and bud; and they shall fill the face of the world with fruit.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That bringeth forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also doth not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Blessed is the man that trusteth in Jehovah, and whose trust Jehovah is.For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, that spreadeth out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat cometh, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

The godly man is perished out of the earth, and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

For in vain is the net spread In the sight of any bird:And these lay wait for their own blood; They lurk privily for their own lives.So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; It taketh away the life of the owners thereof.

But now being made free from sin and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end eternal life.

He taketh up all of them with the angle, he catcheth them in his net, and gathereth them in his drag: therefore he rejoiceth and is glad.Therefore he sacrificeth unto his net, and burneth incense unto his drag; because by them his portion is fat, and his food plenteous.Shall he therefore empty his net, and spare not to slay the nations continually?

For among my people are found wicked men: they watch, as fowlers lie in wait; they set a trap, they catch men.As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxed rich.They are waxed fat, they shine: yea, they overpass in deeds of wickedness; they plead not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.

A man that flattereth his neighbor Spreadeth a net for his steps.In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare; But the righteous doth sing and rejoice.

And those on the rock are they who, when they have heard, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.And that which fell among the thorns, these are they that have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.And that in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it fast, and bring forth fruit with patience.

The nations are sunk down in the pit that they made: In the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing.

Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
