邪惡者以口陷人、因善人之智慧、乃得拯救、

With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors, but through knowledge the righteous escape.

With their words ungodly people destroy their neighbors. But those who do what is right escape because of their knowledge.

With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.

With their words, the godless destroy their friends, but knowledge will rescue the righteous.

With his mouth the ungodly destroys his neighbor, but through knowledge the righteous are rescued.

The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.

For wisdom will enter your heart, and moral knowledge will be attractive to you.Discretion will protect you, understanding will guard you,to deliver you from the way of the wicked, from those speaking perversity,who leave the upright paths to walk on the dark ways,who delight in doing evil, they rejoice in perverse evil;whose paths are morally crooked, and who are devious in their ways;to deliver you from the adulteress, from the sexually loose woman who speaks flattering words;

The old prophet then said,“ I too am a prophet like you. An angel told me with the LORD’s authority,‘ Bring him back with you to your house so he can eat and drink.’” But he was lying to him.So the prophet went back with him and ate and drank in his house.While they were sitting at the table, the LORD spoke through the old prophetand he cried out to the prophet from Judah,“ This is what the LORD says,‘ You have rebelled against the LORD and have not obeyed the command the LORD your God gave you.You went back and ate and drank in this place, even though he said to you,“ Do not eat or drink there.” Therefore your corpse will not be buried in your ancestral tomb.’”

The LORD said,‘ Who will deceive Ahab, so he will attack Ramoth Gilead and die there?’ One said this and another that.Then a spirit stepped forward and stood before the LORD. He said,‘ I will deceive him.’ The LORD asked him,‘ How?’He replied,‘ I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets.’ The LORD said,‘ Deceive and overpower him. Go out and do as you have proposed.’So now, look, the LORD has placed a lying spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours; but the LORD has decreed disaster for you.”

So the king of Israel assembled about four hundred prophets and asked them,“ Should I attack Ramoth Gilead or not?” They said,“ Attack! The sovereign one will hand it over to the king.”

For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.Therefore it is not surprising his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions.

He attacks his friends; he breaks his solemn promises to them.His words are as smooth as butter, but he harbors animosity in his heart. His words seem softer than oil, but they are really like sharp swords.

and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will destroy by the breath of his mouth and wipe out by the manifestation of his arrival.The arrival of the lawless one will be by Satan’s working with all kinds of miracles and signs and false wonders,and with every kind of evil deception directed against those who are perishing, because they found no place in their hearts for the truth so as to be saved.

Even from among your own group men will arise, teaching perversions of the truth to draw the disciples away after them.

Now as for you, the anointing that you received from him resides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, it is true and is not a lie. Just as it has taught you, you reside in him.

Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the later times some will desert the faith and occupy themselves with deceiving spirits and demonic teachings,influenced by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared.They will prohibit marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God– a mature person, attaining to the measure of Christ’s full stature.So we are no longer to be children, tossed back and forth by waves and carried about by every wind of teaching by the trickery of people who craftily carry out their deceitful schemes.

“ Watch out for false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are voracious wolves.

speaking of these things in all his letters. Some things in these letters are hard to understand, things the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they also do to the rest of the scriptures.Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard that you do not get led astray by the error of these unprincipled men and fall from your firm grasp on the truth.But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the honor both now and on that eternal day.

Such is the destiny of all who forget God; the hope of the godless perishes,

“ But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be( let the reader understand), then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.

For the commandments are like a lamp, instruction is like a light, and rebukes of discipline are like the road leading to life,by keeping you from the evil woman, from the smooth tongue of the loose woman.

so that the godless man should not rule, and not lay snares for the people.

But you say,‘ If someone tells his father or mother,“ Whatever help you would have received from me is given to God,”he does not need to honor his father.’ You have nullified the word of God on account of your tradition.Hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you when he said,‘ This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me,and they worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”Then he called the crowd to him and said,“ Listen and understand.What defiles a person is not what goes into the mouth; it is what comes out of the mouth that defiles a person.”Then the disciples came to him and said,“ Do you know that when the Pharisees heard this saying they were offended?”And he replied,“ Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant will be uprooted.Leave them! They are blind guides. If someone who is blind leads another who is blind, both will fall into a pit.”

But false prophets arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. These false teachers will infiltrate your midst with destructive heresies, even to the point of denying the Master who bought them. As a result, they will bring swift destruction on themselves.And many will follow their debauched lifestyles. Because of these false teachers, the way of truth will be slandered.And in their greed they will exploit you with deceptive words. Their condemnation pronounced long ago is not sitting idly by; their destruction is not asleep.

Acquire wisdom, acquire understanding; do not forget and do not turn aside from the words I speak.Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will guard you.

I have not written to you that you do not know the truth, but that you do know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, the elect.Be careful! I have told you everything ahead of time.
