偽善以口才、訕謗鄰里、義者具明哲、自救其身。

邪惡者以口陷人、因善人之智慧、乃得拯救、

With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors, but through knowledge the righteous escape.

With their words ungodly people destroy their neighbors. But those who do what is right escape because of their knowledge.

With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.

With their words, the godless destroy their friends, but knowledge will rescue the righteous.

The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.

Then he said to him,“ I too am a prophet like you, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying,‘ Bring him back with you to your house, so that he may eat bread and drink water.’ ” But he lied to him.So he went back with him, and ate bread in his house and drank water.Now it came about, as they were sitting down at the table, that the word of the Lord came to the prophet who had brought him back;and he cried out to the man of God who came from Judah, saying,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Because you have disobeyed the command of the Lord, and have not kept the commandment which the Lord your God commanded you,but have returned and eaten bread and drunk water in the place of which He said to you,“ You are not to eat bread nor drink water”; your dead body will not come to the grave of your fathers.’ ”

And the Lord said,‘ Who will entice Ahab to go up and fall at Ramoth gilead?’ And one spirit said this, while another said that.Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, and said,‘ I will entice him.’And the Lord said to him,‘ How?’ And he said,‘ I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets.’ Then He said,‘ You shall entice him, and you will also prevail. Go and do so.’Now then, behold, the Lord has put a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all these prophets of yours; and the Lord has declared disaster against you.”

So the king of Israel assembled the prophets, about four hundred men, and said to them,“ Should I go to battle against Ramoth gilead or should I refrain?” And they said,“ Go up, for the Lord will hand it over to the king.”

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.

He has put forth his hands against those who were at peace with him; He has violated his covenant.His speech was smoother than butter, But his heart was war; His words were softer than oil, Yet they were drawn swords.

Then that lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will eliminate with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and false signs and wonders,and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not accept the love of the truth so as to be saved.

and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things to draw away the disciples after them.

And as for you, the anointing which you received from Him remains in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you remain in Him.

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.

until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of people, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;

“ Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which there are some things that are hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unscrupulous people and lose your own firm commitment,but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

So are the paths of all who forget God; And the hope of the godless will perish,

“ Now when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be— let the reader understand— then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.

For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is light; And rebukes for discipline are the way of lifeTo keep you from the evil woman, From the smooth tongue of the foreign woman.

So that godless people would not rule, Nor be snares for the people.

But you say,‘ Whoever says to his father or mother,“ Whatever I have that would help you has been given to God,”he is not to honor his father or mother.’ And by this you have invalidated the word of God for the sake of your tradition.You hypocrites, rightly did Isaiah prophesy about you, by saying:‘ This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me.And in vain do they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ”After Jesus called the crowd to Him, He said to them,“ Hear and understand!It is not what enters the mouth that defiles the person, but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles the person.”Then the disciples came and* said to Him,“ Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this statement?”But He answered and said,“ Every plant which My heavenly Father did not plant will be uprooted.Leave them alone; they are blind guides of blind people. And if a person who is blind guides another who is blind, both will fall into a pit.”

But false prophets also appeared among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.Many will follow their indecent behavior, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned;and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth.Do not abandon her, and she will guard you; Love her, and she will watch over you.

I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

for false christs and false prophets will arise, and will provide signs and wonders, in order to mislead, if possible, the elect.But beware; I have told you everything in advance.
