邪惡者以口陷人、因善人之智慧、乃得拯救、

With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors, but through knowledge the righteous escape.

With their words ungodly people destroy their neighbors. But those who do what is right escape because of their knowledge.

With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.

With their words, the godless destroy their friends, but knowledge will rescue the righteous.

With his mouth the godless person destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be rescued.

The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.

With his mouth the godless man destroyeth his neighbor; But through knowledge shall the righteous be delivered.

He said to him,“ I am also a prophet like you. An angel spoke to me by the word of the LORD:‘ Bring him back with you to your house so that he may eat food and drink water.’” The old prophet deceived him,and the man of God went back with him, ate food in his house, and drank water.While they were sitting at the table, the word of the LORD came to the prophet who had brought him back,and the prophet cried out to the man of God who had come from Judah,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ Because you rebelled against the LORD’s command and did not keep the command that the LORD your God commanded you—but you went back and ate food and drank water in the place that he said to you,“ Do not eat food and do not drink water”— your corpse will never reach the grave of your ancestors.’”

And the LORD said,‘ Who will entice Ahab to march up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?’ So one was saying this and another was saying that.“ Then a spirit came forward, stood in the LORD’s presence, and said,‘ I will entice him.’“ The LORD asked him,‘ How?’“ He said,‘ I will go and become a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’“ Then he said,‘ You will certainly entice him and prevail. Go and do that.’“ You see, the LORD has put a lying spirit into the mouth of all these prophets of yours, and the LORD has pronounced disaster against you.”

So the king of Israel gathered the prophets, about four hundred men, and asked them,“ Should I go against Ramoth-gilead for war or should I refrain?” They replied,“ March up, and the Lord will hand it over to the king.”

For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.And no wonder! For Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.So it is no great surprise if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will be according to their works.

My friend acts violently against those at peace with him; he violates his covenant.His buttery words are smooth, but war is in his heart. His words are softer than oil, but they are drawn swords.

and then the lawless one will be revealed. The Lord Jesus will destroy him with the breath of his mouth and will bring him to nothing at the appearance of his coming.The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with every kind of miracle, both signs and wonders serving the lie,and with every wicked deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth and so be saved.

Men will rise up even from your own number and distort the truth to lure the disciples into following them.

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need anyone to teach you. Instead, his anointing teaches you about all things and is true and is not a lie; just as it has taught you, remain in him.

Now the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons,through the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared.They forbid marriage and demand abstinence from foods that God created to be received with gratitude by those who believe and know the truth.

until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness.Then we will no longer be little children, tossed by the waves and blown around by every wind of teaching, by human cunning with cleverness in the techniques of deceit.

“ Be on your guard against false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves.

He speaks about these things in all his letters. There are some things hard to understand in them. The untaught and unstable will twist them to their own destruction, as they also do with the rest of the Scriptures.Therefore, dear friends, since you know this in advance, be on your guard, so that you are not led away by the error of lawless people and fall from your own stable position.But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.

Such is the destiny of all who forget God; the hope of the godless will perish.

“ When you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be”( let the reader understand),“ then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.

For a command is a lamp, teaching is a light, and corrective discipline is the way to life.They will protect you from an evil woman, from the flattering tongue of a wayward woman.

so that godless men should not rule or ensnare the people.

But you say,‘ Whoever tells his father or mother,“ Whatever benefit you might have received from me is a gift committed to the temple,”he does not have to honor his father.’ In this way, you have nullified the word of God because of your tradition.Hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you when he said:This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines human commands.”Summoning the crowd, he told them,“ Listen and understand:It’s not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth— this defiles a person.”Then the disciples came up and told him,“ Do you know that the Pharisees took offense when they heard what you said?”He replied,“ Every plant that my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted.Leave them alone! They are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

There were indeed false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, and will bring swift destruction on themselves.Many will follow their depraved ways, and the way of truth will be maligned because of them.They will exploit you in their greed with made-up stories. Their condemnation, pronounced long ago, is not idle, and their destruction does not sleep.

Get wisdom, get understanding; don’t forget or turn away from the words from my mouth.Don’t abandon wisdom, and she will watch over you; love her, and she will guard you.

I have not written to you because you don’t know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie comes from the truth.

For false messiahs and false prophets will arise and will perform signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, the elect.And you must watch! I have told you everything in advance.
