邪惡者以口陷人、因善人之智慧、乃得拯救、

With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors, but through knowledge the righteous escape.

With their words ungodly people destroy their neighbors. But those who do what is right escape because of their knowledge.

With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.

With their words, the godless destroy their friends, but knowledge will rescue the righteous.

And Jehovah said, Who shall entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth- gilead? And one said on this manner; and another said on that manner.And there came forth a spirit, and stood before Jehovah, and said, I will entice him.And Jehovah said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt entice him, and shalt prevail also: go forth, and do so.Now therefore, behold, Jehovah hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets; and Jehovah hath spoken evil concerning thee.

Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramoth- gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king.

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, fashioning themselves into apostles of Christ.And no marvel; for even Satan fashioneth himself into an angel of light.It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also fashion themselves as ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

He hath put forth his hands against such as were at peace with him: He hath profaned his covenant.His mouth was smooth as butter, But his heart was war: His words were softer than oil, Yet were they drawn swords.

And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of his coming;even he, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

and from among your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them.

And as for you, the anointing which ye received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any one teach you; but as his anointing teacheth you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, ye abide in him.

But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons,through the hypocrisy of men that speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron;forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by them that believe and know the truth.

till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a fullgrown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.

as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unstedfast wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.Ye therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware lest, being carried away with the error of the wicked, ye fall from your own stedfastness.But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and for ever. Amen.

So are the paths of all that forget God; And the hope of the godless man shall perish:

But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not( let him that readeth understand), then let them that are in Judæa flee unto the mountains:

For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; And reproofs of instruction are the way of life:To keep thee from the evil woman, From the flattery of the foreigner’s tongue.

That the godless man reign not, That there be none to ensnare the people.

But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, That wherewith thou mightest have been profited by me is given to God;he shall not honor his father. And ye have made void the word of God because of your tradition.Ye hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,This people honoreth me with their lips; But their heart is far from me.But in vain do they worship me, Teaching as their doctrines the precepts of men.And he called to him the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:Not that which entereth into the mouth defileth the man; but that which proceedeth out of the mouth, this defileth the man.Then came the disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, when they heard this saying?But he answered and said, Every plant which my heavenly Father planted not, shall be rooted up.Let them alone: they are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both shall fall into a pit.

But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there shall be false teachers, who shall privily bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.And many shall follow their lascivious doings; by reason of whom the way of the truth shall be evil spoken of.And in covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose sentence now from of old lingereth not, and their destruction slumbereth not.

Get wisdom, get understanding; Forget not, neither decline from the words of my mouth;Forsake her not, and she will preserve thee; Love her, and she will keep thee.

I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

for there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, the elect.But take ye heed: behold, I have told you all things beforehand.
