Speech that heals is like a life-giving tree, but a perverse tongue breaks the spirit.

He said to them,“ Follow me, and I will turn you into fishers of people.”

For since I am free from all I can make myself a slave to all, in order to gain even more people.To the Jews I became like a Jew to gain the Jews. The one who reaps receives pay and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that the one who sows and the one who reaps can rejoice together.

For who is our hope or joy or crown to boast of before our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not of course you?

For Peter and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish that they had taken,and so were James and John, Zebedee’s sons, who were Simon’s business partners. Then Jesus said to Simon,“ Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching people.”

She is like a tree of life to those who obtain her, and everyone who grasps hold of her will be blessed.
