One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.

One person gives freely but gets even richer. Another person doesn’t give what they should but gets even poorer.

One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.

Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything.

A wicked person earns deceptive wages, But one who sows righteousness gets a true reward.

from that time when one came to a grain heap of twenty measures, there would be only ten; and when one came to the wine vat to draw fifty measures, there would be only twenty.I struck you and every work of your hands with scorching wind, mildew, and hail; yet you did not come back to Me,’ declares the Lord.‘ Do consider from this day onward, from the twenty fourth day of the ninth month; from the day when the temple of the Lord was founded, consider:Is the seed still in the barn? Even including the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree, it has not produced fruit. Yet from this day on I will bless you.’ ”

So I considered it necessary to urge the brothers that they go on ahead to you and arrange in advance your previously promised generous gift, that the same would be ready as a generous gift, and not as one grudgingly given due to greediness.Now I say this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows generously will also reap generously.Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;as it is written:“ He scattered abroad, he gave to the poor, His righteousness endures forever.”Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.

You shall generously give to him, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because for this thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your work, and in all your undertakings.

Sow your seed in the morning and do not be idle in the evening, for you do not know whether one or the other will succeed, or whether both of them alike will be good.

You have sown much, only to harvest little; you eat, but there is not enough to be satisfied; you drink, but there is not enough to become drunk; you put on clothing, but there is not enough for anyone to get warm; and the one who earns, earns wages to put into a money bag full of holes.”

Cast your bread on the surface of the waters, for you will find it after many days.Divide your portion to seven, or even to eight, for you do not know what misfortune may occur on the earth.

“ You start an ambitious project, but behold, it comes to little; when you bring it home, I blow it away. Why?” declares the Lord of armies.“ It is because of My house which remains desolate, while each of you runs to his own house.Therefore, because of you the sky has withheld its dew, and the earth has withheld its produce.And I called for a drought on the land, on the mountains, on the grain, on the new wine, on the oil, on what the ground produces, on mankind, on cattle, and on all the products of the labor of your hands.”

One who increases his wealth by interest of any kind, Collects it for one who is gracious to the poor.

And to the extent that any of the disciples had means, each of them determined to send a contribution for the relief of the brothers and sisters living in Judea.And they did this, sending it with Barnabas and Saul to the elders.
