My son, listen to your father’s instruction, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching:

我儿，要听你父亲的训诲，不可离弃你母亲的法则；

孩子啊，你要听从父亲的教诲，不可背弃母亲的训言。

我儿，要听从你父亲的教训，不可离弃你母亲的训诲。

我儿啊，你要听从你父亲的管教，不要撇弃你母亲的法则！

我兒，要聽你父親的訓誨，不可離棄你母親的法則；

我兒啊，要聽你父親的訓誨，不可離棄你母親的教誨；

孩子啊，你要聽從父親的教誨，不可背棄母親的訓言。

弟子啊，要聽從你父親的管教，不可擯棄你母親的指教；

我兒啊，你要聽從你父親的管教，不要撇棄你母親的法則！

我子、當聽爾父之訓誨、毋棄爾母之法則、

爾小子、宜聽父訓、毋棄母儀。

My son, keep your father’s commandment, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching.

My son, pay attention to my wisdom. Turn your ear to my understanding,that you may maintain discretion, that your lips may preserve knowledge.

Listen, sons, to a father’s instruction. Pay attention and know understanding;for I give you sound learning. Don’t forsake my law.For I was a son to my father, tender and an only child in the sight of my mother.He taught me, and said to me:“ Let your heart retain my words. Keep my commandments, and live.

My son, if you will receive my words, and store up my commandments within you,

My son, if sinners entice you, don’t consent.

My son, don’t walk on the path with them. Keep your foot from their path,

My son, don’t forget my teaching; but let your heart keep my commandments:

If one man sins against another, God will judge him; but if a man sins against Yahweh, who will intercede for him?” Notwithstanding, they didn’t listen to the voice of their father, because Yahweh intended to kill them.

having been reminded of the sincere faith that is in you, which lived first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and, I am persuaded, in you also.

“‘ Each one of you shall respect his mother and his father. You shall keep my Sabbaths. I am Yahweh your God.

If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and though they chasten him, will not listen to them,then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city and to the gate of his place.They shall tell the elders of his city,“ This our son is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey our voice. He is a glutton and a drunkard.”All the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones. So you shall remove the evil from among you. All Israel shall hear, and fear.

Behold, they brought to him a man who was paralyzed, lying on a bed. Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic,“ Son, cheer up! Your sins are forgiven you.”

But Jesus, turning around and seeing her, said,“ Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.
