我儿，要听你父亲的训诲，不可离弃你母亲的法则；

My son, if sinful men tempt you, don’t give in to them.

These are the sayings of King Lemuel. His mother taught them to him. These sayings came from God.

My son, do not forget my teaching. Keep my commands in your heart.

If a person sins against someone else, God can help that sinner. But if anyone sins against the Lord, who can help them?” In spite of what their father Eli said, his sons didn’t pay any attention to his warning. That’s because the Lord had already decided to put them to death.

He won’t obey us. He eats too much. He’s always getting drunk.”Then all the people in his town will put him to death by throwing stones at him. Get rid of that evil person. All the Israelites will hear about it. And they will be afraid to disobey their parents.

Some men brought to him a man who could not walk. He was lying on a mat. Jesus saw that they had faith. So he said to the man,“ Don’t lose hope, son. Your sins are forgiven.”

Jesus turned and saw her.“ Dear woman, don’t give up hope,” he said.“ Your faith has healed you.” The woman was healed at that moment.
