What man is he who fears Yahweh? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.His soul will dwell at ease. His offspring will inherit the land.

He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in Yahweh.His heart is established. He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.

In the fear of Yahweh is a secure fortress, and he will be a refuge for his children.

When you hear of wars and disturbances, don’t be terrified, for these things must happen first, but the end won’t come immediately.”

For by me your days will be multiplied. The years of your life will be increased.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.My Father who has given them to me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.

“ Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.Hear instruction, and be wise. Don’t refuse it.Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts.For whoever finds me, finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh.

“ By your endurance you will win your lives.

Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!

Oh that you had listened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”

Turn your ear, and come to me. Hear, and your soul will live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

My son, let them not depart from your eyes. Keep sound wisdom and discretion:so they will be life to your soul, and grace for your neck.Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble.When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet.Don’t be afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes;for Yahweh will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being taken.

Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?Even as it is written,“ For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
