but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”

Who are those who fear the Lord? He will show them the path they should choose.They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the land.

They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them.They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.

Those who fear the Lord are secure; he will be a refuge for their children.

And when you hear of wars and insurrections, don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place first, but the end won’t follow immediately.”

Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me,for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!

My child, don’t lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them,for they will refresh your soul. They are like jewels on a necklace.They keep you safe on your way, and your feet will not stumble.You can go to bed without fear; you will lie down and sleep soundly.You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked,for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?( As the Scriptures say,“ For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”)No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow— not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.No power in the sky above or in the earth below— indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
