but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”

What man[ is] he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way[ that] he shall choose.His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.His heart[ is] established, he shall not be afraid, until he see[ his desire] upon his enemies.

In the fear of the LORD[ is] strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end[ is] not by and by.

For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any[ man] pluck them out of my hand.My Father, which gave[ them] me, is greater than all; and no[ man] is able to pluck[ them] out of my Father’s hand.

Thou wilt keep[ him] in perfect peace,[ whose] mind[ is] stayed[ on thee]: because he trusteth in thee.

Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed[ are they that] keep my ways.Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.Blessed[ is] the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

In your patience possess ye your souls.

Oh that my people had hearkened unto me,[ and] Israel had walked in my ways!

O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you,[ even] the sure mercies of David.

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?[ shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
