那時，恐懼如風暴襲擊你們，災難如旋風臨到你們，憂愁和苦難吞沒你們。

惊恐临到你们，好像狂风；灾难来到，如同暴风；急难痛苦临到你们身上。

那时，恐惧如风暴袭击你们，灾难如旋风临到你们，忧愁和苦难吞没你们。

惊恐临到你们好像风暴，灾难如同飓风来临，患难困苦临到你们身上。

那时，恐惧像风暴那样临到，灾难像旋风那样来临，患难和困苦临到你们身上。

驚恐臨到你們，好像狂風；災難來到，如同暴風；急難痛苦臨到你們身上。

耶和華不輕易發怒，有偉大的能力。耶和華斷不以有罪的為無罪。祂行走在旋風和暴風中，雲彩是祂腳下的塵土。

一切作惡之人必受患難和痛苦，先是猶太人，然後是希臘人。

不要怕突來的災禍，不要怕惡人遭毀滅，因為耶和華是你的靠山，祂使你的腳不陷入網羅。

刹那間，荊棘還沒有把鍋燒熱的工夫，上帝必除滅他們。

願他們面前的宴席變為網羅，成為他們的陷阱。願他們眼目昏暗，無法看見；願他們哆哆嗦嗦，直不起腰來。求你把烈怒傾倒在他們身上，將怒氣撒向他們。願他們的家園一片荒涼，願他們的帳篷無人居住。因為他們迫害你擊打過的人，嘲笑你所打傷之人的痛苦。求你清算他們的種種罪行，不要讓他們有份於你的拯救之恩。願他們的名字從生命冊上被抹去，不得和義人的名字列在一起。

地上的君王、顯貴、將領、富豪、有勢力的、一切奴隸和自由人都躲藏在山洞裡和岩穴間。他們哀求群山和岩石，說：「倒下來遮蓋我們，將我們藏起來吧！我們不敢面對寶座上的那位和羔羊的烈怒啊！因為祂們發烈怒的大日子到了，誰能站得住呢？」

雖然萬民喧囂如洶湧的洪水，但上帝一聲斥責，他們便逃往遠方，像山頂上被風捲走的糠秕，又如狂風颳走的塵埃。

當人們正在說一切平安穩妥的時候，災禍會像產痛臨到孕婦一樣突然臨到他們，令他們無法逃脫。

惡人所怕的必臨到他，義人的心願必得實現。暴風掃過，惡人消逝無蹤，義人永不動搖。

那時，孕婦和哺育嬰兒的母親們可就遭殃了！因為將有大災難降在這地方，烈怒要臨到這些人民。他們要死在刀劍之下，要被擄到外國去。耶路撒冷要被外族人蹂躪，直到外族人肆虐的日期滿了為止。「日月星辰必顯出異兆，怒海洶湧、波濤翻騰，令各國驚恐不安。天體必震動，人類想到世界要面臨的事都嚇得魂不附體。

「你們要小心，不要被宴樂、醉酒和人生的掛慮所拖累，免得那日子像網羅般突然臨到你們，因為那日子將要這樣臨到世上每一個人。
