那时，恐惧如风暴袭击你们，灾难如旋风临到你们，忧愁和苦难吞没你们。

惊恐临到你们，好像狂风；灾难来到，如同暴风；急难痛苦临到你们身上。

惊恐临到你们好像风暴，灾难如同飓风来临，患难困苦临到你们身上。

那时，恐惧像风暴那样临到，灾难像旋风那样来临，患难和困苦临到你们身上。

驚恐臨到你們，好像狂風；災難來到，如同暴風；急難痛苦臨到你們身上。

那時，恐懼如風暴襲擊你們，災難如旋風臨到你們，憂愁和苦難吞沒你們。

爾所懼之災害、迫切之患難、突如其來、如颶風之倏至。

耶和华不轻易发怒，有伟大的能力。耶和华断不以有罪的为无罪。祂行走在旋风和暴风中，云彩是祂脚下的尘土。

一切作恶之人必受患难和痛苦，先是犹太人，然后是希腊人。

不要怕突来的灾祸，不要怕恶人遭毁灭，因为耶和华是你的靠山，祂使你的脚不陷入网罗。

刹那间，荆棘还没有把锅烧热的工夫，上帝必除灭他们。

愿他们面前的宴席变为网罗，成为他们的陷阱。愿他们眼目昏暗，无法看见；愿他们哆哆嗦嗦，直不起腰来。求你把烈怒倾倒在他们身上，将怒气撒向他们。愿他们的家园一片荒凉，愿他们的帐篷无人居住。因为他们迫害你击打过的人，嘲笑你所打伤之人的痛苦。求你清算他们的种种罪行，不要让他们有份于你的拯救之恩。愿他们的名字从生命册上被抹去，不得和义人的名字列在一起。

地上的君王、显贵、将领、富豪、有势力的、一切奴隶和自由人都躲藏在山洞里和岩穴间。他们哀求群山和岩石，说：“倒下来遮盖我们，将我们藏起来吧！我们不敢面对宝座上的那位和羔羊的烈怒啊！因为祂们发烈怒的大日子到了，谁能站得住呢？”

虽然万民喧嚣如汹涌的洪水，但上帝一声斥责，他们便逃往远方，像山顶上被风卷走的糠秕，又如狂风刮走的尘埃。

当人们正在说一切平安稳妥的时候，灾祸会像产痛临到孕妇一样突然临到他们，令他们无法逃脱。

恶人所怕的必临到他，义人的心愿必得实现。暴风扫过，恶人消逝无踪，义人永不动摇。

那时，孕妇和哺育婴儿的母亲们可就遭殃了！因为将有大灾难降在这地方，烈怒要临到这些人民。他们要死在刀剑之下，要被掳到外国去。耶路撒冷要被外族人蹂躏，直到外族人肆虐的日期满了为止。“日月星辰必显出异兆，怒海汹涌、波涛翻腾，令各国惊恐不安。天体必震动，人类想到世界要面临的事都吓得魂不附体。

“你们要小心，不要被宴乐、醉酒和人生的挂虑所拖累，免得那日子像网罗般突然临到你们，因为那日子将要这样临到世上每一个人。
