爾遭患難、我必哂之、爾受恐惶、我必嗤之、

故患難既臨、而爾畏懼、我將哂笑。

故爾遭遇災害、我必哂之、可懼之事、臨及爾身、我必笑之、

I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you; I will mock when calamity overtakes you—

So I will laugh at you when you are in danger. I will make fun of you when hard times come.
