他們若說：「你與我們同去，我們要埋伏殺人流血，無故地潛藏，殺害無辜；

他們若說：「你與我們同去，我們要埋伏殺人流血，無故地潛藏，殺害無辜；

他們若說：「跟我們來吧，我們去埋伏殺人，暗害無辜者取樂；

如果他們說：“你跟我們來吧！我們要埋伏流人的血，我們要無故地潛伏傷害無辜的人；

他們若說：『跟我們同來吧！我們來埋伏，流人的血，來無緣無故地潛伏、害無辜的人；

如果他們說：「你與我們一起去吧，讓我們埋伏，殺人流血，任意設伏攻擊清白的人，

彼若曰、與我偕行、潛伏以流人血、無端隱伺無辜、

如彼曰、爾我偕行、我匿於歧途、見無辜者殺之。

如彼曰、爾我同行、我欲設伏殺人流血、無故立謀、以害無辜者、

If they say,“ Come along with us; let’s lie in wait for innocent blood, let’s ambush some harmless soul;

They might say,“ Come along with us. Let’s hide and wait to kill someone who hasn’t done anything wrong. Let’s catch some harmless person in our trap.

If they say,“ Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood; let us ambush the innocent without reason;

They may say,“ Come and join us. Let’s hide and kill someone! Just for fun, let’s ambush the innocent!

If they say—“ Come with us! Let’s set an ambush and kill someone. Let’s attack some innocent person just for fun!

If they say,“ Come with us, Let’s lie in wait for blood, Let’s ambush the innocent without cause;

If they say, Come with us, Let us lay wait for blood; Let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause;

If they say—“ Come with us! Let’s set an ambush and kill someone. Let’s attack some innocent person just for fun!

If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:

If they say,“ Come with us! We will lie in wait to shed blood; we will ambush an innocent person capriciously.

If they say,“ Come with us. Let’s lay in wait for blood. Let’s lurk secretly for the innocent without cause.

‘ For among My people are found wicked men; They lie in wait as one who sets snares; They set a trap; They catch men.

But they lie in wait for their own blood, They lurk secretly for their own lives.

The words of the wicked are,“ Lie in wait for blood,” But the mouth of the upright will deliver them.

Then they said,“ Come and let us devise plans against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come and let us attack him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.”Give heed to me, O Lord, And listen to the voice of those who contend with me!Shall evil be repaid for good? For they have dug a pit for my life. Remember that I stood before You To speak good for them, To turn away Your wrath from them.

The faithful man has perished from the earth, And there is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; Every man hunts his brother with a net.

As a lion is eager to tear his prey, And like a young lion lurking in secret places.

For their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed blood.

They gather together, They hide, they mark my steps, When they lie in wait for my life.

asking a favor against him, that he would summon him to Jerusalem— while they lay in ambush along the road to kill him.

He sits in the lurking places of the villages; In the secret places he murders the innocent; His eyes are secretly fixed on the helpless.He lies in wait secretly, as a lion in his den; He lies in wait to catch the poor; He catches the poor when he draws him into his net.So he crouches, he lies low, That the helpless may fall by his strength.

But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law,‘ They hated Me without a cause.’
