How blessed is the one who does not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand in the pathway with sinners, or sit in the assembly of scoffers!

When you see a thief, you join him; you associate with men who are unfaithful to their wives.

You must not give in to him or even listen to him; do not feel sympathy for him or spare him or cover up for him.

The one who goes about gossiping reveals secrets; therefore do not associate with someone who is always opening his mouth.

For these are the kind who do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By their smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of the naive.

She nagged him every day and pressured him until he was sick to death of it.Finally he told her his secret. They brought him down to Gaza and bound him in bronze chains. He became a grinder in the prison.
