I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

I appeal to Euodia and to Syntyche to agree in the Lord.

I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same way in the Lord.

Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness— without it no one will see the Lord.

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, that there be no divisions among you, and that you be united with the same understanding and the same conviction.

Finally, all of you be like-minded and sympathetic, love one another, and be compassionate and humble,not paying back evil for evil or insult for insult but, on the contrary, giving a blessing, since you were called for this, so that you may inherit a blessing.For the one who wants to love life and to see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,and let him turn away from evil and do what is good. Let him seek peace and pursue it,

make my joy complete by thinking the same way, having the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves.

Salt is good, but if the salt should lose its flavor, how can you season it? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”

Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received,with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.There is one body and one Spirit— just as you were called to one hope at your calling—one Lord, one faith, one baptism,one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.Now grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.For it says: When he ascended on high, he took the captives captive; he gave gifts to people.

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation.Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Give careful thought to do what is honorable in everyone’s eyes.If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

In any case, we should live up to whatever truth we have attained.

How delightfully good when brothers live together in harmony!It is like fine oil on the head, running down on the beard, running down Aaron’s beard onto his robes.It is like the dew of Hermon falling on the mountains of Zion. For there the LORD has appointed the blessing— life forevermore.

and to regard them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without pretense.And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who cultivate peace.

So Joseph sent his brothers on their way, and as they were leaving, he said to them,“ Don’t argue on the way.”
