I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

因為這件善事不單可以幫助經濟困難的聖徒，也使許多人對上帝充滿感恩。

不可忘記行善和幫補別人，因為這樣的祭是上帝所喜悅的。

我知道如何過貧窮的日子，也知道如何過富足的日子。我學到了秘訣，不論飽足或饑餓，豐裕或缺乏，在任何情況下都可以處之泰然。

要以愛心待人，像基督愛我們一樣，祂為我們犧牲自己作為獻給上帝的馨香供物和祭物。

另外，我覺得有必要讓以巴弗提回到你們那裡。他是我的弟兄、同工和戰友，也是你們差遣來服侍我、供應我需用的。他很想念你們，並且感到不安，因為你們聽說了他患病的事。

所以，弟兄姊妹，我憑上帝的憐憫勸你們獻上自己的身體，作聖潔、蒙上帝悅納的活祭。你們理當這樣事奉。

弟兄姊妹，我們應當為你們常常感謝上帝，這是合宜的，因為你們的信心不斷增長，彼此相愛的心也不斷增加。

瑪麗亞拿出一瓶珍貴的純哪噠香膏來抹耶穌的腳，又用自己的頭髮去擦，屋裡頓時充滿了香氣。有一個門徒，就是將要出賣耶穌的加略人猶大說：「為什麼不把香膏賣三百個銀幣去賙濟窮人呢？」他這樣說不是因為他真的關心窮人，其實他是個賊，常常藉管錢的機會中飽私囊。耶穌說：「由她吧！她這是為我安葬作預備。因為你們身邊總會有窮人，可是你們身邊不會總有我。」

感謝上帝！祂常常在基督裡率領我們走在凱旋的行列中，又藉著我們到處散發那因認識基督而有的香氣。不論是在得救的人當中還是在滅亡的人當中，對上帝來說，我們都是基督的馨香之氣。對滅亡的人而言，這香氣是叫人死亡的香氣；對得救的人來說，這香氣卻是叫人得生命的香氣。誰能擔當這樣的重任呢？

你們也如同活石，被用來建造屬靈的宮殿，好做聖潔的祭司，藉著耶穌基督獻上蒙上帝悅納的靈祭。
