Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only;

And you believers at Philippi know what happened when I left Macedonia. Not one church helped me in the matter of giving and receiving. You were the only one that did. That was in the early days when you first heard the good news.

And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only.

As you know, you Philippians were the only ones who gave me financial help when I first brought you the Good News and then traveled on from Macedonia. No other church did this.

And you Philippians know that in the early days of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you alone.

You yourselves also know, Philippians, that at the first preaching of the gospel, after I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you alone;

Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only.

And ye yourselves also know, ye Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church had fellowship with me in the matter of giving and receiving but ye only;

And you Philippians know that in the early days of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you alone.

Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

And as you Philippians know, at the beginning of my gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in this matter of giving and receiving except you alone.

You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.

因為從頭一天直到如今，你們是同心合意地興旺福音。

我虧負了別的教會，向他們取了工價來給你們效力。我在你們那裏缺乏的時候，並沒有累着你們一個人；因我所缺乏的，那從馬其頓來的弟兄們都補足了。我向來凡事謹守，後來也必謹守，總不至於累着你們。既有基督的誠實在我裏面，就無人能在亞該亞一帶地方阻擋我這自誇。為甚麼呢？是因我不愛你們嗎？這有神知道。我現在所做的，後來還要做，為要斷絕那些尋機會人的機會，使他們在所誇的事上也不過與我們一樣。

我成了愚妄人，是被你們強逼的。我本該被你們稱許才是。我雖算不了甚麼，卻沒有一件事在那些最大的使徒以下。我在你們中間，用百般的忍耐，藉着神蹟、奇事、異能顯出使徒的憑據來。除了我不累着你們這一件事，你們還有甚麼事不及別的教會呢？這不公之處，求你們饒恕我吧。如今，我打算第三次到你們那裏去，也必不累着你們；因我所求的是你們，不是你們的財物。兒女不該為父母積財，父母該為兒女積財。我也甘心樂意為你們的靈魂費財費力。難道我越發愛你們，就越發少得你們的愛嗎？

二人出了監，往呂底亞家裏去，見了弟兄們，勸慰他們一番，就走了。保羅和西拉經過暗妃坡里、亞波羅尼亞，來到帖撒羅尼迦，在那裏有猶太人的會堂。保羅照他素常的規矩進去，一連三個安息日，本着聖經與他們辯論，講解陳明基督必須受害，從死裏復活；又說：「我所傳與你們的這位耶穌就是基督。」他們中間有些人聽了勸，就附從保羅和西拉，並有許多虔敬的希臘人，尊貴的婦女也不少。但那不信的猶太人心裏嫉妒，招聚了些市井匪類，搭夥成羣，聳動合城的人闖進耶孫的家，要將保羅、西拉帶到百姓那裏。

神人以利沙的僕人基哈西心裏說：「我主人不願從這亞蘭人乃縵手裏受他帶來的禮物，我指着永生的耶和華起誓，我必跑去追上他，向他要些。」

以利沙說：「我指着所事奉永生的耶和華起誓，我必不受。」乃縵再三地求他，他卻不受。
