I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

I can do all this by the power of Christ. He gives me strength.

Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by his vast strength.

He gives strength to the faint and strengthens the powerless.Youths may become faint and weary, and young men stumble and fall,but those who trust in the LORD will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint.

I pray that he may grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power in your inner being through his Spirit,

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.

Such is the confidence we have through Christ before God.It is not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God.

Remain in me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me.I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me.
