我辛苦劳碌，经常失眠，又饥又渴，经常缺食，遭受寒冷，衣不蔽体。

你们当负起我的轭，向我学，因为我心地柔和、谦卑。这样，你们就将寻得灵魂的安息。

反而在一切事上都证明自己是神的仆人：在极大的忍耐中，在各种患难、艰难、困苦中，在鞭打、监禁、混乱中，在劳苦、失眠、饥饿中，在纯洁、知识、耐心、仁慈中，藉着圣灵，在不虚假的爱中，在真理的话语中，在神的大能中，藉着右手左手的公义兵器，藉着荣耀和羞辱，藉着坏名声和好名声；像是迷惑人的，却是真诚的；像是人所不知的，却是人所共知的；像是快要死的，可是看哪，我们是活着的；像是受惩罚的，却是不被治死；像是忧伤的，却总是快乐；像是贫穷的，却使许多人富足；像是一无所有，却是样样都有。

我保罗与你们面对面的时候是卑微的，不在你们那里的时候向你们却是大胆的。现在我亲自以基督的温柔与谦和恳求你们：

其实我在想，神把我们做使徒的列在最后，好像被定死罪的人；原来我们成了给宇宙、天使、世人的一台戏。我们为基督的缘故是愚拙的，你们在基督里倒是聪明的；我们软弱，你们倒强壮；你们有荣耀，我们倒不受尊重。直到现在这时刻，我们还是又饥又渴，衣不蔽体，被人殴打，居无定所，并且亲手劳苦做工。被人辱骂，我们就祝福；被人逼迫，我们就容忍；受到毁谤，我们就劝导。我们被当做世界的垃圾、万人的渣滓，直到如今。

耶和华把大能的手放在我身上对我说话，警戒我不要走这子民所走的路；他如此说：

因为有人说：“保罗的书信又严厉又强硬，但他亲身在的时候却是软弱的人，他的言语也被藐视。”

我降卑自己，好使你们被高举，因为我把神的福音无偿地传给你们，难道我这样就犯了罪吗？

耶稣对他们说：“为此，凡是成为天国门徒的经文士，就好比一家的主人，从他的宝库里拿出新的和旧的东西来。”

但你们学了基督，就不是这样——如果你们真的听从了他，又照着在耶稣里的真理，在他里面受了教导，
