I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.

Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.

Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have.

But godliness with contentment is a great gain.For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out.But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these.But those who want to be rich fall into temptation, a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge people into ruin and destruction.

Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you.Therefore, we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

So don’t worry, saying,‘ What will we eat?’ or‘ What will we drink?’ or‘ What will we wear?’For the idolaters eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of Him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them filth, so that I may gain Christ

And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ: Though He was rich, for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich.

For you sympathized with the prisoners and accepted with joy the confiscation of your possessions, knowing that you yourselves have a better and enduring possession.

as grieving yet always rejoicing; as poor yet enriching many; as having nothing yet possessing everything.
