而與之合為一體。蓋予自身了無仁義、律法亦不足為恃、惟天主為仁義之泉源、而所以致之者、則惟信仰基督而已矣。

I want to be joined to him. Being right with God does not come from my obeying the law. It comes because I believe in Christ. It comes from God because of faith.

and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith.

and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

and be found in him, not because I have my own righteousness derived from the law, but because I have the righteousness that comes by way of Christ’s faithfulness– a righteousness from God that is in fact based on Christ’s faithfulness.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

But it is due to Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,

For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.For if those who are of the Law are heirs, then faith is made void and the promise is nullified;for the Law brings about wrath, but where there is no law, there also is no violation.

But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,just as David also speaks of the blessing of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written:“ But the righteous one will live by faith.”

What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, attained righteousness, but the righteousness that is by faith;however, Israel, pursuing a law of righteousness, did not arrive at that law.Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as though they could by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone,

nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, For He will bear their wrongdoings.

For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were brought to light by the Law, were at work in the parts of our body to bear fruit for death.But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said,“ You shall not covet.”But sin, taking an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me coveting of every kind; for apart from the Law sin is dead.I was once alive apart from the Law; but when the commandment came, sin came to life, and I died;and this commandment, which was to result in life, proved to result in death for me;for sin, taking an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me, and through it, killed me.So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? Far from it! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by bringing about my death through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.

In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety; and this is the name by which it will be called: the Lord is our righteousness.’

Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God;because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction,

as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness which is in the Law, found blameless.

Is the Law then contrary to the promises of God? Far from it! For if a law had been given that was able to impart life, then righteousness would indeed have been based on law.But the Scripture has confined everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

Indeed, there is not a righteous person on earth who always does good and does not ever sin.

In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will live securely; And this is His name by which He will be called,‘ The Lord Our Righteousness.’

Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation.For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge.For not knowing about God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.For Moses writes of the righteousness that is based on the Law, that the person who performs them will live by them.But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows:“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will go up into heaven?’( that is, to bring Christ down),

He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was granted to us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

Now go and learn what this means:‘ I desire compassion, rather than sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.

And do not enter into judgment with Your servant, For no person living is righteous in Your sight.

For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

For all who are of works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all the things written in the book of the Law, to do them.”Now, that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for,“ the righteous one will live by faith.”However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary,“ The person who performs them will live by them.”Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us— for it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”—

All of us, like sheep, have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the wrongdoing of us all To fall on Him.

in which He also went and made proclamation to the spirits in prison,who once were disobedient when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

“ When they sin against You( for there is no person who does not sin) and You are angry with them and turn them over to an enemy, so that they take them away captive to the land of the enemy, distant or near;

They have all turned aside, together they are corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.

Who can discern his errors? Acquit me of hidden faults.

So He wiped out every living thing that was upon the face of the land, from mankind to animals, to crawling things, and the birds of the sky, and they were wiped out from the earth; and only Noah was left, together with those that were with him in the ark.

They will say of Me,‘ Only in the Lord are righteousness and strength.’ People will come to Him, And all who were angry at Him will be put to shame.In the Lord all the offspring of Israel Will be justified and will boast.”

so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

What is man, that he would be pure, Or he who is born of a woman, that he would be righteous?Behold, He has no trust in His holy ones, And the heavens are not pure in His sight;How much less one who is detestable and corrupt: A person who drinks malice like water!

Simon Peter, a bond servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:

Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.

You meet him who rejoices in doing righteousness, Who remembers You in Your ways. Behold, You were angry, for we sinned, We continued in our sins for a long time; Yet shall we be saved?For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our wrongdoings, like the wind, take us away.

Then I said,“ Woe to me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of armies.”

I am afraid of all my pains, I know that You will not acquit me.I am guilty, Why then should I struggle in vain?If I washed myself with snow, And cleansed my hands with lye,Then You would plunge me into the pit, And my own clothes would loathe me.

And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment:regarding sin, because they do not believe in Me;and regarding righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you no longer are going to see Me;and regarding judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness And of Your salvation all day long; For I do not know the art of writing.I will come with the mighty deeds of the Lord God; I will make mention of Your righteousness, Yours alone.
