For I have often told you, and now say again with tears, that many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.

蓋我屢告爾、今又涕泣告爾、多有所行與基督十架為敵者、

我言之屢矣、今為涕泣而道、多有行事與基督十字架之道相敵者、

我屢告爾、今流淚又告爾、有多人行事與基督之十字架為敵者、

蓋方今天下、與基督之十字架為敵者滔滔皆是也。此予已屢為爾曹陳之、今復涕泣為爾等道之；

For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.

I have told you these things many times before. Now I tell you again with tears in my eyes. Many people live like enemies of the cross of Christ.

not that there is another gospel, but there are some who are troubling you and want to change the good news about the Messiah.

But if you will not listen, my innermost being will weep in secret because of your pride. My eyes will overflow with tears, for the Lord’s flock has been taken captive.

But when I saw that they were deviating from the truth of the gospel, I told Cephas in front of everyone,“ If you, who are a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel Gentiles to live like Jews?”

Those who want to make a good impression in the flesh are the ones who would compel you to be circumcised— but only to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.

especially those who follow the polluting desires of the flesh and despise authority. Bold, arrogant people! They do not tremble when they blaspheme the glorious ones;

To be sure, some preach Christ out of envy and strife, but others out of good will.These do so out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel;

This means one must not transgress against and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger of all these offenses, as we also previously told and warned you.

always praying with joy for all of you in my every prayer,

For know and recognize this: Every sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, who is an idolater, does not have an inheritance in the kingdom of the Messiah and of God.Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for God’s wrath is coming on the disobedient because of these things.

And men will rise up from your own number with deviant doctrines to lure the disciples into following them.Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for three years I did not stop warning each one of you with tears.

envy, drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar. I tell you about these things in advance— as I told you before— that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

serving the Lord with all humility, with tears, and with the trials that came to me through the plots of the Jews—

As He approached and saw the city, He wept over it,

For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

For I wrote to you with many tears out of an extremely troubled and anguished heart— not that you should be hurt, but that you should know the abundant love I have for you.

For we hear that there are some among you who walk irresponsibly, not working at all, but interfering with the work of others.

wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shameful deeds; wandering stars for whom the blackness of darkness is reserved forever!
