其為人也、復謙之又謙、損之又損、惟天主之命是從；鞠躬盡瘁、死而後已、終至致命於十字架上。

He appeared as a man. He was humble and obeyed God completely. He did this even though it led to his death. Even worse, he died on a cross!

Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire. You have opened my ears. You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.Then I said,“ Behold, I have come. It is written about me in the book in the scroll.I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.”

If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and remain in his love.

Again, a second time he went away, and prayed, saying,“ My Father, if this cup can’t pass away from me unless I drink it, your desire be done.”

For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet.

As he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became white and dazzling.

After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them.His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.

Jesus said to them,“ My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.

He was changed before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.
