他本有神的形像，不以自己与神同等为强夺的；

他本有上帝的形像，却不坚持自己与上帝同等；

祂虽然本质上是上帝，却没有紧紧抓住自己与上帝平等的地位不放，

他本来有神的形象，却不坚持自己与神平等的地位，

虽然他就是神本体的存在，却不把与神同等看做是一件要强抓不放的事，

他本有神的形像，不以自己與神同等為強奪的；

他本有上帝的形像，卻不堅持自己與上帝同等；

他本有神的形像，卻不堅持自己與神同等；

祂雖然本質上是上帝，卻沒有緊緊抓住自己與上帝平等的地位不放，

他本來有神的形象，卻不堅持自己與神平等的地位，

他形質上本是屬神的，卻不以自己與上帝平等為應當把持不捨的，

雖然他就是神本體的存在，卻不把與神同等看做是一件要強抓不放的事，

彼原有上帝之狀、不以匹上帝自居、

彼具體上帝、即匹上帝、不為僭、

彼具天主之體、即配天主不以為僭、

夫彼神也、與天主等齊而不居焉、

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;

In his very nature he was God. Jesus was equal with God. But Jesus didn’t take advantage of that fact.

who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,

Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.

who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be exploited.

who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,

who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped,

who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be used for His own advantage.

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

who though he existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped,

who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped,

For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.

in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they will not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

And now You, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed.

Then He said to me,“ It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give water to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life, without cost.

I and the Father are one.”

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation:for by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities— all things have been created through Him and for Him.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever.

The Jews answered Him,“ We are not stoning You for a good work, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.”

For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

Jesus said to them,“ Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.”Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and left the temple grounds.

Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, he raised his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him,“ Are you for us or for our enemies?”He said,“ No; rather I have come now as captain of the army of the Lord.” And Joshua fell on his face to the ground, and bowed down, and said to him,“ What has my lord to say to his servant?”And the captain of the Lord’s army said to Joshua,“ Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

Thomas answered and said to Him,“ My Lord and my God!”

And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says,“ And let all the angels of God worship Him.”

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.

looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,

Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was in the beginning with God.

“ Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they shall name Him Immanuel,” which translated means,“ God with us.”

In the womb he took his brother by the heel, And in his mature strength he contended with God.Yes, he wrestled with the angel and prevailed; He wept and implored His favor. He found Him at Bethel, And there He spoke with us,And the Lord, the God of armies, The Lord is His name.

But regarding the Son He says,“ Your throne, God, is forever and ever, And the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His kingdom.

Then I looked, and behold, something like the appearance of a man; from His waist and downward there was the appearance of fire, and from His waist and upward like the appearance of a glow, like gleaming metal.And He extended the form of a hand and took me by the hair of my head; and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the north gate of the inner courtyard, where the seat of the idol of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy, was located.And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, like the appearance which I saw in the plain.Then He said to me,“ Son of man, raise your eyes now toward the north.” So I raised my eyes toward the north, and behold, to the north of the altar gate was this idol of jealousy at the entrance.And He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations which the house of Israel are committing here, so that I would be far from My sanctuary? But yet you will see still greater abominations!”

so that all will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.

In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will live securely; And this is His name by which He will be called,‘ The Lord Our Righteousness.’

Then it will sweep on into Judah, it will overflow and pass through, It will reach as far as the neck; And the spread of its wings will fill the expanse of your land, Immanuel.

Jesus* said to him,“ Have I been with you for so long a time, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? The one who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say,‘ Show us the Father’?

“ Awake, sword, against My Shepherd, And against the Man, My Associate,” Declares the Lord of armies.“ Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered; And I will turn My hand against the little ones.

And he blessed Joseph, and said,“ The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, The God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day,The angel who has redeemed me from all evil, Bless the boys; And may my name live on in them, And the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; And may they grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”

You heard that I said to you,‘ I am going away, and I am coming to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Then Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him until daybreak.When the man saw that he had not prevailed against him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was dislocated while he wrestled with him.Then he said,“ Let me go, for the dawn is breaking.” But he said,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”So he said to him,“ What is your name?” And he said,“ Jacob.”Then he said,“ Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; for you have contended with God and with men, and have prevailed.”And Jacob asked him and said,“ Please tell me your name.” But he said,“ Why is it that you ask my name?” And he blessed him there.So Jacob named the place Peniel, for he said,“ I have seen God face to face, yet my life has been spared.”
