彼具體上帝、即匹上帝、不為僭、

彼具天主之體、即配天主不以為僭、

夫彼神也、與天主等齊而不居焉、

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;

In his very nature he was God. Jesus was equal with God. But Jesus didn’t take advantage of that fact.

who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,

Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.

who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be exploited.

who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,

who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped,

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

who though he existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped,

This is why the Jews began trying all the more to kill Him: Not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.

In their case, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of His nature, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with that glory I had with You before the world existed.

And He said to me,“ It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give water as a gift to the thirsty from the spring of life.

The Father and I are one.”

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.For everything was created by Him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities— all things have been created through Him and for Him.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

“ We aren’t stoning You for a good work,” the Jews answered,“ but for blasphemy, because You— being a man— make Yourself God.”

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

Jesus said to them,“ I assure you: Before Abraham was, I am.”At that, they picked up stones to throw at Him. But Jesus was hidden and went out of the temple complex.

The ancestors are theirs, and from them, by physical descent, came the Messiah, who is God over all, praised forever. Amen.

Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are small among the clans of Judah; One will come from you to be ruler over Israel for Me. His origin is from antiquity, from eternity.

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. He laid His right hand on me and said,“ Don’t be afraid! I am the First and the Last,and the Living One. I was dead, but look— I am alive forever and ever, and I hold the keys of death and Hades.

But if I am doing them and you don’t believe Me, believe the works. This way you will know and understand that the Father is in Me and I in the Father.”

When Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in His hand. Joshua approached Him and asked,“ Are You for us or for our enemies?”“ Neither,” He replied.“ I have now come as commander of the Lord’s army.” Then Joshua bowed with his face to the ground in worship and asked Him,“ What does my Lord want to say to His servant?”The commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua,“ Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

Thomas responded to Him,“ My Lord and my God!”

When He again brings His firstborn into the world, He says, And all God’s angels must worship Him.

Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive, have a son, and name him Immanuel.

while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

And most certainly, the mystery of godliness is great: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was with God in the beginning.

See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name Him Immanuel, which is translated“ God is with us.”

In the womb he grasped his brother’s heel, and as an adult he wrestled with God.Jacob struggled with the Angel and prevailed; he wept and sought His favor. He found him at Bethel, and there He spoke with him.Yahweh is the God of Hosts; Yahweh is His name.

but to the Son: Your throne, God, is forever and ever, and the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of justice.

I looked, and there was a form that had the appearance of a man. From what seemed to be His waist down was fire, and from His waist up was something that looked bright, like the gleam of amber.He stretched out what appeared to be a hand and took me by the hair of my head. Then the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and carried me in visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the inner gate that faces north, where the offensive statue that provokes jealousy was located.I saw the glory of the God of Israel there, like the vision I had seen in the plain.The Lord said to me,“ Son of man, look toward the north.” I looked to the north, and there was this offensive statue north of the altar gate, at the entrance.He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they are doing here, more detestable things that the house of Israel is committing, so that I must depart from My sanctuary? You will see even more detestable things.”

so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

No one has ever seen God. The One and Only Son— the One who is at the Father’s side— He has revealed Him.

In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. This is what He will be named: Yahweh Our Righteousness.

It will pour into Judah, flood over it, and sweep through, reaching up to the neck; and its spreading streams will fill your entire land, Immanuel!

Jesus said to him,“ Have I been among you all this time without your knowing Me, Philip? The one who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say,‘ Show us the Father’?

Sword, awake against My shepherd, against the man who is My associate— this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will also turn My hand against the little ones.

Then he blessed Joseph and said: The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day,the Angel who has redeemed me from all harm— may He bless these boys. And may they be called by my name and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and may they grow to be numerous within the land.

You have heard Me tell you,‘ I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him until daybreak.When the man saw that He could not defeat him, He struck Jacob’s hip socket as they wrestled and dislocated his hip.Then He said to Jacob,“ Let Me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob said,“ I will not let You go unless You bless me.”“ What is your name?” the man asked.“ Jacob,” he replied.“ Your name will no longer be Jacob,” He said.“ It will be Israel because you have struggled with God and with men and have prevailed.”Then Jacob asked Him,“ Please tell me Your name.” But He answered,“ Why do you ask My name?” And He blessed him there.Jacob then named the place Peniel,“ For I have seen God face to face,” he said,“ and I have been delivered.”
