使惟生之道、因爾益彰。如是則予平生之所為僕僕風塵、不遑寧息者、庶幾不為徒勞、且得揚眉吐氣於基督之日矣。

as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.

You will shine as you hold on tight to the word of life. Then I will be able to boast about you on the day Christ returns. I can be happy that I didn’t run or work for nothing.

I therefore run like that, not aimlessly. I fight like that, not beating the air,

as also you acknowledged us in part, that we are your boasting, even as you also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.

It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Simon Peter answered him,“ Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.

having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.

But I said,“ I have labored in vain. I have spent my strength in vain for nothing; yet surely the justice due to me is with Yahweh, and my reward with my God.”

But what does it say?“ The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;” that is, the word of faith which we preach:that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.For the Scripture says,“ Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.For,“ Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:“ How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”But they didn’t all listen to the glad news. For Isaiah says,“ Lord, who has believed our report?”

God, you have taught me from my youth. Until now, I have declared your wondrous works.

Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.But shun empty chatter, for it will go further in ungodliness,and those words will consume like gangrene, of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus:

that your rejoicing may abound in Christ Jesus in me through my presence with you again.Only let your way of life be worthy of the Good News of Christ, that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your state, that you stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the Good News;

“ I tell you, everyone who confesses me before men, the Son of Man will also confess before the angels of God;

I went up by revelation, and I laid before them the Good News which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately before those who were respected, for fear that I might be running, or had run, in vain.

For this cause I also, when I couldn’t stand it any longer, sent that I might know your faith, for fear that by any means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor would have been in vain.

For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two- edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Isn’t it even you, before our Lord Jesus at his coming?

I have proclaimed glad news of righteousness in the great assembly. Behold, I will not seal my lips, Yahweh, you know.

Brothers, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, the word of this salvation is sent out to you.

I am afraid for you, that I might have wasted my labor for you.

The Spirit and the bride say,“ Come!” He who hears, let him say,“ Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
