for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

God is working in you. He wants your plans and your acts to fulfill his good purpose.

for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was granted to us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

Not that we are adequate in ourselves so as to consider anything as having come from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,

So then, it does not depend on the person who wants it nor the one who runs, but on God who has mercy.

For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given to You.For we are strangers before You, and temporary residents, as all our fathers were; our days on the earth are like a shadow, and there is no hope.Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided to build You a house for Your holy name, it is from Your hand, and everything is Yours.Since I know, my God, that You put the heart to the test and delight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You.Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intentions of the hearts of Your people, and direct their hearts to You;

The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He pleases.

It is written in the Prophets:‘ And they shall all be taught of God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.

Lord, You will establish peace for us, Since You have also performed for us all our works.

Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice deeds of wickedness With people who do wrong; And may I not taste their delicacies.

Then the king said to me,“ What would you request?” So I prayed to the God of heaven.

And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a large number who believed turned to the Lord.

But we should always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Your people will volunteer freely on the day of Your power; In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
