因此，我亲爱的各位，既然你们一直是顺从的——不仅我在的时候如此，现今我不在的时候更加顺从——就当怀着敬畏和战兢的心，把你们的救恩行出来，

我所愛者乎、爾常順服、不第我與爾同在之時、今我與爾不同在、更當畏懼戰慄、成爾求救之工、

是故吾親愛之同道乎、爾其戰戰兢兢、力行弗懈、以保爾終。素稔爾等從善如流；當予與爾等偕時固已如此、今予遠在他方、爾等更宜小心翼翼、服膺聖教。

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;

Then one said to Him,“ Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them,“ Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.

Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”Then they said to Him,“ What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”Jesus answered and said to them,“ This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,

but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,” Says the Lord.“ But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word.

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,

remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father,

Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.

Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ;

The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.

eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;

My flesh trembles for fear of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments.
