使一切在天上的、地上的和地底下的，因耶穌的名，眾膝都要跪下，

使天地幽冥之人、聞耶穌名、無膝不屈、

使在天在地在地下者、聞耶穌名、無膝不屈、

使天上人間乃至地下一切生靈、莫不聞其名而屈膝、

我指着自己起誓，公義從我的口發出，這話並不返回：『萬膝必向我跪拜，萬口必憑我起誓。』「人論我說，『公義、能力，惟獨在乎耶和華。人必歸向他，凡向他發怒的都必蒙羞。以色列的後裔必因耶和華得稱為義，並要彼此誇耀。』」

耶穌進前來，對他們說：「天上地下所有的權柄都賜給我了。

我又聽見在天上、地上、地底下、滄海裏和天地間一切所有被造之物，都說：「願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀、權勢，都歸給坐在寶座上的那位和羔羊，直到永永遠遠！」四活物就說：「阿們！」眾長老也俯伏敬拜。

再者，上帝引領他長子進入世界的時候，說：「上帝的使者都要拜他。」

可是你，你為甚麼評斷弟兄呢？你又為甚麼輕看弟兄呢？因我們都要站在上帝的審判臺前。經上寫着：「主說，我指着我的永生起誓：萬膝必向我跪拜；萬口必稱頌上帝。」

你們不要對這事感到驚訝，因為時候將到，凡在墳墓裏的，都要聽見他的聲音，並且要出來：行善的，復活得生命；作惡的，復活被定罪。

要照着所安排的，在時機成熟的時候，使天上、地上、一切所有的，都在基督裏面同歸於一。

二十四位長老就俯伏敬拜坐在寶座上活到永永遠遠的那一位，又把他們的冠冕放在寶座前，說：

因此，我在父面前屈膝－

用荊棘編了冠冕，戴在他頭上，拿一根蘆葦稈放在他右手裏，跪在他面前，戲弄他，說：「萬歲，猶太人的王！」

於是海交出其中的死人，死亡和陰間也交出其中的死人；他們都照各人所行的受審判。

約拿三日三夜在大魚肚腹中，同樣，人子也要三日三夜在地裏面。

既說「他升上」，豈不是指他曾降到地底下嗎？

又給約瑟坐他的副座車，在他前面有人呼叫說：「跪下。」於是，法老委派他治理埃及全地。

但上帝的指示是怎麼對他說的呢？他說：「我為自己留下七千人，是未曾向巴力屈膝的。」
