It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me.

It is right for me to feel this way about all of you. I love you with all my heart. I may be held by chains, or I may be standing up for the truth of the good news. Either way, all of you share in God’s grace together with me.

It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.

So it is right that I should feel as I do about all of you, for you have a special place in my heart. You share with me the special favor of God, both in my imprisonment and in defending and confirming the truth of the Good News.

Indeed, it is right for me to think this way about all of you, because I have you in my heart, and you are all partners with me in grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.

except that the Holy Spirit solemnly testifies to me in every city, saying that chains and afflictions await me.

for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Nevertheless, you have done well to share with me in my difficulty.

But, beloved, we are convinced of better things regarding you, and things that accompany salvation, even though we are speaking in this way.For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus;

I consider it right, as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, to stir you up by way of reminder,

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God,

it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.

We always give thanks to God for all of you, making mention of you in our prayers;constantly keeping in mind your work of faith and labor of love and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father,knowing, brothers and sisters, beloved by God, His choice of you;for our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sakes.

for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness;

I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it.

but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that at the revelation of His glory you may also rejoice and be overjoyed.

Then the commander came up and took hold of him, and ordered that he be bound with two chains; and he began asking who he was and what he had done.

praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned;

partly by being made a public spectacle through insults and distress, and partly by becoming companions with those who were so treated.For you showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a better and lasting possession.
