Indeed, it is right for me to think this way about all of you, because I have you in my heart, and you are all partners with me in grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.

It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me.

It is right for me to feel this way about all of you. I love you with all my heart. I may be held by chains, or I may be standing up for the truth of the good news. Either way, all of you share in God’s grace together with me.

It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.

So it is right that I should feel as I do about all of you, for you have a special place in my heart. You share with me the special favor of God, both in my imprisonment and in defending and confirming the truth of the Good News.

For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me.

just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace.

because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.

For this reason, I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles—

I, Paul, am writing this greeting with my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.

except that in every town the Holy Spirit warns me that chains and afflictions are waiting for me.

For this I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I might be bold enough to speak about it as I should.

These preach out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel;the others proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, thinking that they will cause me trouble in my imprisonment.

Still, you did well by partnering with me in my hardship.

for which I suffer to the point of being bound like a criminal. But the word of God is not bound.

I exhort the elders among you as a fellow elder and witness to the sufferings of Christ, as well as one who shares in the glory about to be revealed:

You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone.

Even though we are speaking this way, dearly loved friends, in your case we are confident of things that are better and that pertain to salvation.For God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you demonstrated for his name by serving the saints— and by continuing to serve them.

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession.

I think it is right, as long as I am in this bodily tent, to wake you up with a reminder,

So don’t be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, or of me his prisoner. Instead, share in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power of God.

It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.

We always thank God for all of you, making mention of you constantly in our prayers.We recall, in the presence of our God and Father, your work produced by faith, your labor motivated by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you,because our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, in the Holy Spirit, and with full assurance. You know how we lived among you for your benefit,

For you are all children of light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or the darkness.

Now I do all this because of the gospel, so that I may share in the blessings.

Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may also rejoice with great joy when his glory is revealed.

Then the commander approached, took him into custody, and ordered him to be bound with two chains. He asked who he was and what he had done.

At the same time, pray also for us that God may open a door to us for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains,

Sometimes you were publicly exposed to taunts and afflictions, and at other times you were companions of those who were treated that way.For you sympathized with the prisoners and accepted with joy the confiscation of your possessions, because you know that you yourselves have a better and enduring possession.
