We thank God always for all of you as we mention you constantly in our prayers,

For God, whom I serve in my spirit by preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness that I continually remember you

I have had great joy and encouragement because of your love, for the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.

who is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,I do not cease to give thanks for you when I remember you in my prayers.I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of him,– since the eyes of your heart have been enlightened– so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints,and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength.This power he exercised in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realmsfar above every rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.And God put all things under Christ’s feet, and he gave him to the church as head over all things.Now the church is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

For who is our hope or joy or crown to boast of before our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not of course you?For you are our glory and joy!

So then, my brothers and sisters, dear friends whom I long to see, my joy and crown, stand in the Lord in this way, my dear friends!

And I pray this, that your love may abound even more and more in knowledge and every kind of insightso that you can decide what is best, and thus be sincere and blameless for the day of Christ,filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your morale and the firmness of your faith in Christ.

For many live, about whom I have often told you, and now, with tears, I tell you that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ.

complete my joy and be of the same mind, by having the same love, being united in spirit, and having one purpose.

I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety- nine righteous people who have no need to repent.

In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”
