We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.

Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,And what[ is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set[ him] at his own right hand in the heavenly[ places],Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:And hath put all[ things] under his feet, and gave him[ to be] the head over all[ things] to the church,Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

For what[ is] our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing?[ Are] not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?For ye are our glory and joy.

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord,[ my] dearly beloved.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and[ in] all judgment;That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.

( For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping,[ that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love,[ being] of one accord, of one mind.

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
