使爾能辨何者為有益、或作使爾能辨是非而為純潔無疵、直至基督之日、

俾識至善之所在、廓然無疑、馴至誠實無妄、心跡雙清、以俟基督來臨之日；

Then you will be able to know what is best. Then you will be pure and without blame for the day that Christ returns.

so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law;

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

and find out what pleases the Lord.

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity. We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom but on God’s grace.

The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.

In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

“ Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord.

Jesus turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.

For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ.And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall.

And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.

Did he not say to me,‘ She is my sister,’ and didn’t she also say,‘ He is my brother’? I have done this with a clear conscience and clean hands.”

For in my inner being I delight in God’s law;

you who hate good and love evil; who tear the skin from my people and the flesh from their bones;

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.

When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him,“ Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

“ If anyone causes one of these little ones— those who believe in me— to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!

I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others.

Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God—

Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is.Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the Lord God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph.

Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble.It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall.

I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.

He will be eating curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right,for before the boy knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right, the land of the two kings you dread will be laid waste.

Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.

Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.

Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.

The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.

For the ear tests words as the tongue tastes food.

Peter replied,“ Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.”

Does not the ear test words as the tongue tastes food?

Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
