雖然有千萬老師將基督的事教導你們，但父親並不多，因為我藉著福音在基督耶穌裡成為你們的父親。

你們自己就是我們的推薦信，寫在了我們心坎上，眾所周知，人人可讀。

我不是自由的嗎？我不是使徒嗎？我不是見過我們的主耶穌嗎？你們不是我在主裡工作的成果嗎？即使對別人來說我不是使徒，對你們來說我也是使徒，因為你們就是我在主裡作使徒的印證。

我的弟兄姊妹，如果有人領一個偏離真道的人歸回正路，他該知道：使一個迷途中的罪人歸回正路就是救一個靈魂脫離死亡，並且會遮蓋許多罪。

寫信給因信主而作我真兒子的提摩太。願父上帝和我們的主基督耶穌的恩典、憐憫和平安臨到你！

提多啊，我寫信給你，就我們共同的信仰來說，你是我真正的兒子。願父上帝和我們的救主基督耶穌賜給你恩典和平安！
