於是差派我們在基督福音上作上帝同工的弟兄提摩太前去，在你們所信的道上堅固你們，勸勉你們，

奉上帝旨意作基督耶穌使徒的保羅和弟兄提摩太，寫信給在哥林多上帝的教會和全亞該亞的眾聖徒。

我為這福音的奧祕作了帶鐵鏈的使者，讓我能照着當盡的本分放膽宣講。

保羅、西拉和提摩太寫信給帖撒羅尼迦、在我們的父上帝與主耶穌基督裏的教會。

我的同工馬可、亞里達古、底馬、路加也都問候你。

我為主作囚徒的勸你們，既然蒙召，行事為人就要與你們所蒙的呼召相稱。

我也求你這真實同負一軛的，要幫助這兩個女人，因為她們在福音上曾與我、革利免和我其餘的同工一同勞苦，他們的名字都在生命冊上。
