雅各家必成为大火，约瑟家成为火焰；以扫家必如碎秸，遭燃烧，被吞灭，以扫家必无幸存者。这是耶和华说的。

雅各家為火、約瑟家為燄、以掃家為稿、必燃而燬之、以掃家靡有孑遺、耶和華言之矣、

雅各家必若火、約瑟家必若焰、以掃族必若稈、焚之務盡、以掃之家、靡有子遺、我耶和華已言之矣。

Jacob will be a fire and Joseph a flame; Esau will be stubble, and they will set him on fire and destroy him. There will be no survivors from Esau.” The Lord has spoken.

They will be like a fire. Joseph’s people will be like a flame. The nation of Edom will be like straw. Jacob’s people will set Edom on fire and burn it up. No one will be left alive among Esau’s people.” The Lord has spoken.

The house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau stubble; they shall burn them and consume them, and there shall be no survivor for the house of Esau, for the Lord has spoken.

The people of Israel will be a raging fire, and Edom a field of dry stubble. The descendants of Joseph will be a flame roaring across the field, devouring everything. There will be no survivors in Edom. I, the Lord, have spoken!

Then the house of Jacob will be a blazing fire, and the house of Joseph, a burning flame, but the house of Esau will be stubble; Jacob will set them on fire and consume Edom. Therefore no survivor will remain of the house of Esau, for the LORD has spoken.

“那日，我必使犹大的族长如柴堆中的火盆，又如禾捆里的火把；他们必左右吞灭四围列国的百姓。耶路撒冷却仍屹立在本处，仍在耶路撒冷！

以色列的光必变成火，它的圣者必成为火焰；一日之间，将亚述王的荆棘和蒺藜焚烧净尽，

雅各的余民必在列国中，在许多民族中，如林间百兽中的狮子，又如少壮狮子在羊群中；他若经过就必践踏撕裂，无人搭救。

火苗怎样吞灭碎秸，干草怎样落在火焰之中，照样，他们的根必然腐朽，他们的花像灰尘扬起；因为他们厌弃万军之耶和华的教诲，藐视以色列圣者的言语。

它的磐石必因惊吓而消失，它的领袖必因大旗惊惶；这是那有火在锡安、有炉在耶路撒冷的耶和华说的。

看哪，他们要像碎秸被火焚烧，无法救自己脱离火焰的魔掌；没有炭火可以取暖，你也不能坐在火旁。

他们就是住帐棚的以东和以实玛利人，摩押和夏甲人，迦巴勒、亚扪、亚玛力、非利士和推罗的居民。亚述也与他们联合，作罗得子孙的帮手。（细拉）求你待他们，如待米甸，如在基顺河待西西拉和耶宾一样。他们在隐‧多珥灭亡，成了地上的粪土。求你使他们的贵族像俄立和西伊伯，使他们的王子都像西巴和撒慕拿。因为他们说：“我们要得上帝的住处，作自己的产业。”我的上帝啊，求你使他们像旋风中的尘土，如风前的碎秸。火怎样焚烧树林，火焰怎样烧着山岭，求你也照样用狂风追赶他们，用暴雨恐吓他们。

若有人用金银、宝石，草木、禾秸，在这根基上建造，

要恨恶邪恶，喜爱良善，在城门口秉公行义；或者耶和华—万军之上帝会施恩给约瑟的余民。

以大碗喝酒，用上等油抹身，却不为约瑟所受的苦难忧伤；

响声如战车在山顶上跳动，如火焰吞噬碎秸，好像强大的军队摆阵备战。

你就对他们说，主耶和华如此说：看哪，我要将约瑟和他的盟友以色列支派的杖，就是在以法莲手中的那根，与犹大的杖接连成为一根，在我手中合而为一。

你们在我圣山怎样喝了苦杯，万国必照样不停地喝，且喝且吞，他们就必归于无有。

你们像杂乱的荆棘，像喝醉了的人，又如枯干的碎秸，全然烧灭。

“人子啊，你要取一根木杖，在其上写‘为犹大和他的盟友以色列人’；又取一根木杖，在其上写‘为约瑟，就是以法莲的杖，和他的盟友以色列全家’。

仆人明知自己有罪，看哪，约瑟全家之中，今日我首先下来迎接我主我王。”

提幔哪，你的勇士必惊惶，以致以扫山的人都被杀戮剪除。因你向兄弟雅各施暴，你必蒙羞，永被剪除。
