雅各家必成为火，约瑟家必成为火焰；以扫家却像碎秸，被它们焚烧吞灭，以扫家再没有生还的人了。因为耶和华已经说了。

雅各家必成为大火；约瑟家必为火焰；以扫家必如碎秸；火必将他烧着吞灭。以扫家必无余剩的。”这是耶和华说的。

雅各家為火、約瑟家為燄、以掃家為稿、必燃而燬之、以掃家靡有孑遺、耶和華言之矣、

雅各家必若火、約瑟家必若焰、以掃族必若稈、焚之務盡、以掃之家、靡有子遺、我耶和華已言之矣。

Jacob will be a fire and Joseph a flame; Esau will be stubble, and they will set him on fire and destroy him. There will be no survivors from Esau.” The Lord has spoken.

They will be like a fire. Joseph’s people will be like a flame. The nation of Edom will be like straw. Jacob’s people will set Edom on fire and burn it up. No one will be left alive among Esau’s people.” The Lord has spoken.

The house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau stubble; they shall burn them and consume them, and there shall be no survivor for the house of Esau, for the Lord has spoken.

The people of Israel will be a raging fire, and Edom a field of dry stubble. The descendants of Joseph will be a flame roaring across the field, devouring everything. There will be no survivors in Edom. I, the Lord, have spoken!

Then the house of Jacob will be a blazing fire, and the house of Joseph, a burning flame, but the house of Esau will be stubble; Jacob will set them on fire and consume Edom. Therefore no survivor will remain of the house of Esau, for the LORD has spoken.

“到那日，我必使犹大的族长好像木柴中的火盆，又好像禾捆中的火把；他们必向左右吞灭周围的万族，但耶路撒冷的人必仍在城中原处安居。

以色列的光必变成火，他的圣者必成为火焰；在一日之间把亚述王的荆棘和蒺藜焚烧与吞灭。

那时雅各的余民，必在万国中，在许多民族里，像树林里百兽中的狮子，又像幼狮在羊群中；他若经过，就必践踏、撕碎，没有人可以拯救。

因此，火舌怎样吞灭碎秸，干草怎样落在火焰之中，照样，他们的根必像腐朽之物，他们的花必像尘土飞扬；因为他们弃绝万军之耶和华的训诲，藐视以色列圣者的话。

他们的磐石必因惊慌而挪去，他们的领袖必因见到以色列的旗帜而惊惶。这是那有火在锡安，有炉在耶路撒冷的耶和华说的。

看哪！他们必像碎秸，火必要焚烧他们；他们不能救自己脱离火焰的威力；这不是可以烤火取暖的火炭，也不是可以坐在它面前的火。

他们就是住帐棚的以东人和以实玛利人，摩押人和夏甲人，迦巴勒、亚扪、亚玛力、非利士和推罗的居民。亚述也和他们联合起来，作了罗得子孙的帮手。（细拉）求你待他们好像待米甸人，像在基顺河待西西拉和耶宾一样；他们都在隐．多珥被消灭，成了地上的粪土。求你使他们的贵族像俄立和西伊伯，使他们的王子像西巴和撒慕拿。他们曾说：“我们要得着神的牧场作自己的产业。”我的神啊！求你使他们像旋风卷起的草，像风前的碎秸。火怎样焚烧树林，火焰怎样燃烧群山，求你也照样用狂风追赶他们，藉暴风雨惊吓他们。

如果有人用金、银、宝石、草、木、禾秸，在这根基上建造，

你们要喜爱良善，恨恶邪恶，在城门口伸张正义；这样，耶和华万军的神或会恩待约瑟的余民。

你们用大碗喝酒，用最贵重的膏油抹身；但你们并没有为约瑟的败落而痛心。

他们在群山顶上跳跃的声音，如战车的响声，又如火焰吞灭碎秸的响声，像强盛的民摆阵预备作战。

你就要回答他们：‘主耶和华这样说：看哪！我要拿约瑟和与他一起的以色列众支派的木杖，就是在以法莲手里的，跟犹大的木杖连接在一起，使它们在我手里成为一根。’

你们怎样在我的圣山上喝过苦杯，万国也必照样不住地喝，他们要喝，并且要吞下去，他们就不再存在了。

他们像缠结着的荆棘，像喝醉了的酒徒，又像枯干的禾秸，全都被吞灭了。

“人子啊！你要拿一根木杖，在上面写‘犹大和那些与他一起的以色列人’；又拿另一根木杖，在上面写‘以法莲的木杖，就是约瑟和与他一起的以色列全家’。

因为你的仆人知道自己犯了罪，所以你看，在约瑟全家之中，今天我是第一个下来迎接我主我王的。”

提幔哪！你的勇士要惊惶，因此在以扫山上人人被杀戮剪除。因你对兄弟雅各行强暴，你必受羞辱，永被剪除。
